BvS is the only superhero movie I can think of that bothers to criticize military interventionism, money in politics, and disproportionate billionaire power in society and the media. It honestly gets kind of a bad rep just because people didn’t like that it wasn’t as fantastical or goofy as the avengers. It wasn’t the tone they wanted or expected, so many gave it the shaft. Seriously, the biggest criticism I ever hear about this movie is the tone being too dark. Which is like… okay? But it’s good lol. Luckily justice prevailed, and it finally got the sequel it deserved.

The nightmare sounds like an NDE (as described thousands of times on youtube.) Since Buscemi tells him he's going home, imo it means even a man like Tony S. will go to heaven...which, further, means all the made guys avoid hell because , as Tony once said, they are all just soldiers.
